I am a writer.

I am an award-winning former journalist who writes creative nonfiction essays. My writing has been broadcast on NPR and has appeared at Creative Nonfiction, Image, Hippocampus, on the "On Being" blog, in Under the Gum Tree, and in River Teeth’s “Beautiful Things” series, among others. My essay "Leaving the Body" won NELLE's 2023 Three Sisters Award for nonfiction.
